Hello, world. Hello, taimatsu.

Why “taimatsu”

「松明」 (taimatsu) means “torch” in Japanese. When wandering through the pitch-black forest of infrastructure, we want to be the torch lit first — a small light, but enough.

This site is our lab’s homepage. The mark is a sun half above the horizon, after Lu Xun’s line about giving whatever heat you have and shedding whatever light you can. Pages follow your system’s light or dark setting, so they’re easy on the eyes.

What we’re building

Four projects, one theme: make complex things simple.

• novon.im — blog hosting. Write Markdown, publish instantly.
• serverless.im — a hub of practical serverless APIs.
• infrastructure.im — cloud infrastructure management; one-click deploy for services, apps and game servers.
• containers.im — an all-in-one container management tool, like Coolify.

All four are still under construction. Slowly, but moving.

What this blog will cover

Build notes, post-mortems, release logs, and occasional rants about toolchains. All written in Markdown — after all, blogging platforms are our business.
